Arab Parliament condemns kidnapping of Qatari citizens in Iraq

CAIRO 23rd December 2015 (WAM) -- Speaker of the Arab Parliament Ahmed Mohammed Al Jarwan has condemned the disgraceful kidnapping of a number of Qatari nationals in Iraq.
Al-Jarwan urged the Iraqi government to take all necessary action to ensure the safety of the kidnaped Qataris and to return them home as soon as possible. He stressed his rejection of this heinous terrorist act which is in violation of international law human rights and the principles of brotherhood among Arab and Muslims.
He expressed his support for the Qatari and Iraqi efforts to release the kidnap victims calling on the Iraqi government to redouble its effort to guarantee their safe return to their country.
