Turkey's support for Palestinians clear unwavering- PM


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) ISTANBUL Dec 22 (KUNA) -- Turkey's support for the Palestinian issue is clear and is unwavering Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoglu said on Tuesday amid reconciliation talks between Ankara and Tel Aviv.Speaking to his party he rejected claims that Turkey has forgotten about the people of Gaza and is instead edging closer to Israel as false adding that Ankara would continue to back the Palestinians until their free state is created with Jerusalem as a capital.About the current talks between Turkey and Israel which he said are moving in a positive direction he said Israel had fulfilled one out of three conditions which is to apologize for the incident where Israeli troops attacked a Turkish humanitarian Gaza-bound flotilla and killed 10 and injured 50 others.What is left is paying compensation to the families of those killed and lifting the blockade on Gaza he added.On Syria he said it has long been suffering from anarchy and chaos leading to the refugee crisis. On this he criticized the Security Council for not taking any decision on the matter.He also claimed that Russia was attacking civilians and moderate opposition in Syria instead of the intended ISIL targets.
