Qatar- Cabinet Secretary General Concludes Visit to Sultanate of Oman


(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) Doha December 22 (QNA) - HE Cabinet Secretary General Hamad bin Ahmed Al Mohannadi concluded a three-day visit to the Sultanate of Oman. The visit came within the framework of the exchange of experiences and expertise with respect to the procedures work mechanisms and terms of reference of the Council of Ministers of the two countries and the supportive bodies of both councils.
Omani Deputy Prime Minister for Cabinet Affairs Fahd bin Mahmoud Al Said met HE Cabinet Secretary General and his accompanying delegation during their visit to Muscat.
Fahd bin Mahmoud Al Said during the meeting hailed the growing bilateral relations between the two countries in various fields expressing his hope to see more progress and prosperity for the benefit of the two brotherly peoples.
For his part Al Mohannadi expressed his pride at the development and achievements attained by the Sultanate of Oman at all levels.
His Excellency met with Omani Minister Responsible for Foreign Affairs Yusuf bin Alawi bin Abdullah and their talks during the meeting dealt with the brotherly relations between the two countries which are characterized by mutual understanding and cooperation and joint keenness to develop them.
He also met with the Secretary General of the Council of Ministers of the Sultanate of Oman where they discussed ways to develop cooperation and exchange of experiences between the secretariats of the two countries' councils of ministers especially in the field of procedures and work mechanisms.
He also visited Oman Information Technology Authority Information Security Management Training and was briefed on the experience of the National Records & Archives Authority in the Sultanate of Oman.
At the end of the visit HE the Secretary General expressed his thanks and appreciation for welcome accorded to him and the accompanying delegation as well as for cooperation of all officials he met in the Sultanate of Oman saying that this reflected the depth and durability of the brotherly relations between the two countries. He praised his meetings in Muscat and their outcomes to develop bilateral cooperation between the secretariats of the two councils of ministers. (QNA)
