Turkey- Inflation for 2016 in Albania is expected to reach 23

(MENAFN- The Journal Of Turkish Weekly) Average inflation for 2016 in Albania is expected to amount to around 23% says the Bank of Albania in its latest report.

It says that this level of inflation has a growing tendency with the scope of bringing this indicator to the 3% target in 2018.

Bank of Albania says that negative gap of production and low prices in world market will continue to be present in the short term.

Meanwhile their dropping effect in inflation is expected to make up for the growing effect of high prices in food products.

Ahead of last weekend the Supervisory Committee of the Bank of Albania decided to keep base interest rate for Lek unchanged at 175%. This is the lowest historical interest rate in Albania.
