Kuwait posts 45.1 percent fall in exports over Q3


(MENAFN) Kuwait's exports touched USD13.4 billion over the three months to Sep period with, reflecting a 45.1 percent drop compared to 2014's same period.

The balance of trade was USD5.9 billion throughout the mentioned timeframe, which marked a 65.7 percent decline from last year's recorded USD17.4 billion.

Meanwhile, the prime partner nation for Kuwaiti non-oil exports was Saudi Arabia with USD199 million, followed by China with USD192m and India's USD189m.

On the other hand, the main exporter for Kuwait over July-Sep was China with USD1.1 billion followed by UAE's USD753 million and then US's USD698 million.
