Mauritania s Health Minister hails UAE s Nabadhat caign

NOUAKCHOTT 20th December 2015 (WAM) -- Mauritania's Health Minister Ahmedou Ould Hdman Gelovon has hailed the UAE's Nabadhat (heart beats) campaign for curing children with heart problems. The initiative was launched by the Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Charity and Humanitarian Foundation in cooperation with the Dubai Health Authority.

During his visit to the Sheikh Zayed Hospital in Nouakchott the Mauritanian minister noted that Mauritanian children have benefited a lot from this initiative. UAE Ambassador to Mauritania Isa Abdullah Masoud Al Kalbani was also present on the occasion.

He also met with the Nabadhat's medical and administrative staff who have performed open heart surgeries and catheter treatment at the Heart Unit in the Sheikh Zayed Hospital affiliated with the National Centre for Heart Diseases benefitting 62 children suffering from heart problems.

Gelovon and Al Kalbani toured the hospital and reassured themselves about the health of the children who received medical treatment and had undergone surgeries.
