UAE- ADM holds blood donation caign for employees and visitors at Mussafah

ABU DHABI 20th December 2015 (WAM) -- The Abu Dhabi City Municipality ADM in collaboration with the Health AuthorityAbu Dhabi HAAD and the Mobile Blood Bank recently organised a blood donation campaign at Mussafah Municipal Centre Scada building which saw the participation of scores of municipal employees in addition to customers and visitors.

The event was held as part of the municipality's values aimed at enhancing communication and solidarity with community organisations and in line with its vision of providing a superior living style and a sustainable environment for residents of Abu Dhabi.

During the campaign the municipality highlighted the benefits of blood donation health education nutrition and disease control. It also distributed booklets and brochures and offered educational material and scientific tips about blood donation as well as blood treatment separation and transfusion through the mobile blood bank positioned at the Mussafah Municipal Centre which received potential donors.
