UAE- SEHA provides all requirements of scientific research for its staff

ABU DHABI 20th December 2015 (WAM) -- The Abu Dhabi Health Services Company SEHA has stressed the importance of scientific research and its role in development all over the world saying that it pays great attention to scientific research to ensure development and progress in all fields.

"Since its inception SEHA has been aware of the importance of conducting medical research; we've provided all requirements and conditions for our cadres to conduct research that serves healthcare and benefits patients receiving medical care at SEHA and across the UAE in general" according to a statement from SEHA which added "The winning of 14 research papers presented by SEHA teams out of 247 research submissions at the 6th SEHA Annual Medical Research Conference 2015 is an important achievement for all staff."

The research papers that won during the conference were selected by a committee of international competent experts from the USA and the UK. The neutral committee chose the research items based on certain scientific evaluation criteria.

The researches were divided into four categories. The best mural research (posters) the best oral research the best research presented electronically (e-poster) and the best research presented by trained doctors in residency programmes of SEHA hospitals.

The winners were honoured by Dr. Ali Abdulkareem Al Obaidli Executive Director of Academic Affairs at SEHA.

The conference hosted a number of workshops and scientific sessions during its two days discussing important views and research on the possibility of containing the costs of health services while preserving high quality services.
