Teach For Qatar makes learning fun and engaging at Darb Al Saai

(MENAFN- Gulf Times) Teach For Qatar is participating in the Supreme Education Council's tent at Darb Al Saai to celebrate
Qatar National Day.
Offering visitors a glimpse of the country's educational history, the tent is reminiscent of school days from the past, according to a statement.
Decorated with old teaching materials and desks, the Teach For Qatar classroom contains a 3D projection of a teacher who conducts a science lesson through a fun, interactive
experiment.
By making learning an engaging experience, the activity as a whole aims to remind the public of the vital role a passionate teacher can have in impacting student learning, the statement notes.
Teach For Qatar's corner in the children's play area at Darb Al Saai, which concludes tomorrow, includes colourful and interactive oversized letters and numbers where kids can play, climb and have fun while participating in a challenging educational competition.
Visitors are encouraged to post about their experience at the Teach For Qatar space and Qatar National Day using a hashtag.
By training young leaders to positively impact students inside the classroom, Teach For Qatar is a local non-government organisation that provides passionate graduates and young professionals with an opportunity to give back to the country by placing them in independent schools for a two-year teaching and leadership development programme.
Applications for the Teach For Qatar 2015-2017 Fellowship are now open.
