India works hard to deepen trade ties with Iran

(MENAFN) India's oil firms realize the great opportunity in enhancing its business relations with Iran, upon the nuclear agreement with global top nations which paves the path for the removal of sanctions next year.

Accordingly, Indian top refiner Essar Oil imported nearly 34,500 barrels per day of oil from Iran in November, as it has increased its inbound shipment from Iran after the mentioned nuclear deal in July.

Moreover, the Indian refiner received about 102,500 bpd from Iran in the first 11 months of the current year, which registers a decline of about 18 percent from the previous year, based on recent reports.

Furthermore, Essar Oil's import in December 2014 increased by 18 percent as compared with the corresponding month in 2013, which overcalled to approximately 37,300 barrels per day.
