Iraqi Prime Minister Meets Qatar's Assistant Foreign Minister


(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) Baghdad December 19 (QNA) - Prime Minister of the Republic of Iraq Dr. Haider Al-Abadi met here today with Qatar's Assistant Foreign for Foreign Affairs HE Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Rumaihi.

Discussions during the meeting dealt with the kidnapping of Qatari nationals in Iraq where HE Assistant Foreign Minister expressed appreciation of the efforts of the Iraqi government to follow up the matter hoping that these efforts will contribute to their release as soon as possible.

For his part the Iraqi Prime Minister stressed that the competent security agencies are working hard for their release.

The meeting was attended by Iraqi Interior Minister Mohamed Salem Al Ghabban Iraq's National Security Adviser Faleh al-Fayad and a number of Iraqi officials ..

On the Qatari side the meeting was attended by HE Qatar's Ambassador to Iraq Zayed bin Saeed Al Kharyeen and the delegation accompanying HE the Assistant Foreign Minister.(QNA)
