Senior management joined several hundred employees at RasGas' West Bay headquarters, where a traditional village called a "fereej" had been specially constructed for the occasion.
Guests were invited to enjoy musical performances, watch local master craftsmen at work and sample Qatari breakfast treats. At the company's Ras Laffan, offshore and Korean locations, employees were invited to cake-cutting ceremonies in honour of the country's special day.
