Jordan- Scattered intermittent showers forecast Saturday


(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) Friday Dec. 18 (Petra) -- No major change in weather conditions or mercury levels is forecast on Friday as relatively cold weather will continue to prevail across the country with a bite of chill especially after midnight. However the northern highlands might see light scattered showers of light rain during the day.

On Saturday clouds will start to build up in the afternoon bringing scattered and intermittent showers but the Jordan Meteorological Department says no major rainfall is forecast anywhere. The department continues to warn of frost formation in the desert and hilly areas especially in the southern region.

On Sunday and Monday there could be a change for a drizzle in eastern part of the kingdom and will be cold elsewhere. Temperature is expected to reach a high of 16 degrees Celsius in Amman dropping down to 5 degrees Celsius.
