RCJY gives approval to two new environmental projects
(MENAFN- Arab News) Two industrial projects in the environmental field costing SR427 million will come up in the jurisdiction of the Royal Commission for Jubail and Yanbu (RCJY).
This follows approval given by RCJY Chairman Prince Saud bin Abdullah bin Thunayan allocating sites for the two projects.
The deals were signed by Abdulaziz Attragi GM strategic planning of the Royal Commission for Jubail (RCJ).
The deal signed with an environmental services company includes allocating 156000 sqm land for managing handling and burying industrial waste with an estimated capital of SR270 million.
The other deal is for establishing a project for recycling handling and burying industrial and hazardous waste on a total area of 108000 sqm. The SR157 million project is expected to provide about 300 direct jobs.
These projects come as a result of the RCJ's continuous work with its partners for developing Jubail industrial city.
They are supportive projects for all industries in Jubail through provision of service for disposal of all industrial waste safely in accordance with the RCJY's instructions and requirements to achieve optimal utilization of resources through a process of recycling and manufacturing.
