Muscat Market Closes on Red Zone


(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) Muscat Securities Market (MSM) general index (30) closed at 5365.61 points on Tuesday's trading session, a drop of 38.1 points or 0.70 percent, compared to the last session, which stood at 5403.67 points.

The MSM's report said that market value amounted to OMR 14.47 billion comprising a decline by 0.25 percent. Trading value rose by 380.85 percent, compared to last session, which reached OMR 1.09 million.

The value of shares bought by non-Omani investors reached OMR 435.000, comprising 8.27 percent, while the value of shares sold by non-Omani investors reached OMR 4.241.000, comprising 80.61 percent. The net non-Omani investment dropped by 72.33 percent to OMR 3.806.000.
