15 killed in clash between soldiers militants in Philippines

killed in a clash in the southern Philippines dpa cited the army spokesman Major Filemon Tan as saying
Wednesday.
The fighting erupted late Tuesday when government troops attacked rebels in the town of
al-Barka in Basilan province 900 kilometres south of Manila Tan said.
Ten other soldiers were wounded in the fighting Tan said.
