(MENAFN- Saudi Press Agency) Aden05 Rabi'I1437 AH 16 December2015 SPA -- Yemen has welcomed the formation of Islamic Military Alliance from 34 countries to fight terrorism.
A statement issued by the Yemeni presidency and transmitted last night by the official Yemeni News Agency confirmed its accession to support the alliance to confront the scourge of terrorism which Yemen is still suffering from it and paying high price of innocent lives as a result of terrorist operations in different provinces by militias.
In its statement the Yemeni presidency noted that the formation of this alliance especially in such a sensitive stage being experienced by Arab and Islamic countries and peoples of the world is a wise historical decision confirming Yemen's full support for the alliance against terrorism as Yemen in fact is one of the first countries that suffered and is still suffering from its disastrous consequences.
The Yemeni Presidency reconfirmed that Yemen would be an active member of the alliance which has become a reality today after it was a dream demanded by countries that have suffered from the scourge of terrorism calling on all Arab and Islamic countries to join the alliance to confront the scourge of terrorism and rid the world of its evils.
