(MENAFN) Oman's Raysut Cement Company has inked a crucial contract with Arabian Industries for the installation for a gas pressure reduction station (GPRS) at its Raysut plant, based on recent reports.
Accordingly, after the construction works of the USD5.4 million GPRS concludes, which is set to be by next May, the cement yield will be significantly boosted by an approximate 120,000 " 130,000 tons per year.
Raysut Cement Company (SAOG) is an Oman-based public shareholding company engaged in the manufacture and sale of cement; it produces and markets Portland cement and Sulphur resistant cement.
Furthermore, the major company's chief production facility is located in Salalah, not to mention it has five storage and packaging terminals, three of them located in Oman and two of them in Yemen.
