Oman- H E Mehrzi opens Dunes by Al Nahda

H E Ahmed bin Nasser bin Hamad al Mehrzi Minister of Tourism on Friday officially inaugurated Dunes by Al Nahda a luxury resort in Wadi al Abiyadh in South Batinah.

The property which is a 75-minute drive from Muscat International Airport has received the prestigious title of preferred LVX property a member of Preferred Hotels & Resorts.

Speaking at the inauguration Niti Ajit Karsandas Hamlai managing director Al Nahda Hotels and Resorts said 'Dunes by Al Nahda will offer guests an experience of a lifetime. Our operations are in full swing. With in-house facilities and guided outdoor activities meticulously in place and our exquisite restaurant laying out a scrumptious spread Dunes by Al Nahda is proud to be a high-end luxury destination catering to tourists with a variety of interest.'

Niti said that the property is dotted with 50 well-spaced luxury tents each with full en suite bathroom separate seating area flat screen TVs and individually-controlled air conditioning bringing together luxury and simplicity.

'Upon arrival at the exclusive luxury getaway guests are greeted by a wellness consultant to assist them in picking from a range of invigorating spa therapies including our signature hot sand therapy a spa treatment from ancient Egypt.

'Dunes by Al Nahda also has a range of activities for the more adventurous souls like dune bashing quad biking and sand surfing or the more relaxed ones such as camel rides bicycle rides and kite flying. The venue also has a nine-hole bunker golf course.'

For meetings and special events Dunes by Al Nahda has a 160sq m banquet hall which can accommodate up to 200 people officials said.
