The 2016 Wall Trends collection from Jotun the region's leading paint manufacturer was unveiled in Oman at Radisson Blu on Monday.

Developed by Lisbeth Larsen Jotun's global colour and creative director together with regional colour experts the 2016 collection is designed keeping in mind the region's culture and aesthetics.

Jotun 2016 Wall Trends feature a selection of beautiful colours and themes inspired by nature. The collection has shades of vintage blues from the '40s '50s and '60s. Each theme and shade is aimed to adorn walls and complement personalities.

Speaking about the collection Mahira Saqib assistant marketing manager at Jotun said 'All the shades are inspired from nature and we are happy to announce that these shades indeed give a taste of sophistication. The Jotun 2016 Wall Trends encourage people to take design risks and transform their homes from blank canvases to on-trend spaces allowing walls to move from the background to the foreground or even taking centre stage.

'At the same time our new collections offer solutions to those who prefer a more subtle look. For the first time Jotun has also unveiled textured walls as key wall trends and these are exclusive to the Middle East region.

'Whether it's the industrial-chic concrete finish or the elegant Romanesque timeless stone and white brick effects texture can immediately transform the look and feel of a space.'

She added that one of the striking features of Jotun is that sample shades shown to people always match the paint on the walls.
