(MENAFN- Saudi Press Agency) Hamburg Rabi'I 03 1437 December 14 2015 SPA -- Eight injuries and 10 arrests were reported at a
Hamburg refugee centre after a weekend of brawling between groups of
Eritreans and Syrians police reported Monday according to dpa.

Authorities said the first fight broke out Saturday in the initial
intake facility between about 50 Syrians and Eritreans. One injury
was reported but no arrests.

But the violence resumed Sunday with a brawl involving between 60
and 80 migrants attacking one another with sticks stones and wooden
beams. It took three hours to bring the fighting to an end reported
police.

Five guards and two residents were reported injured. Additionally 10
people involved in the fight were taken into custody though they
were all released Sunday.

Authorities have not been able to confirm what prompted the fighting
in either case.
