(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) Ramallah Dec.14 (Petra)--Hundreds of extremist Jewish settlers on Monday stormed and invaded the Prophet joseph's Tomb in eastern Nablus under armed protection.
According to a statement of Nablus municipality more that 25 buses carrying extremist Jewish settlers invaded what they claimed to be the area of Prophet Joseph Tomb and performed their Talmudic rites under the protection of the Israeli police.
Confrontations erupted after the Israeli soldiers fired tear-gas canisters and rubber-coated metal bullets at locals who threw stones and empty bottles in response the statement added.
