The initiative is part of a relief drive titled “warm winter” launched by the RAF in collaboration with Qatar Airways at a cost of QR3m ($795300) which has been collected through donations from people in Qatar. The initiative aims to protect Syrian refugees from the harsh winter. The manufacturing company has completed the production. The stocks are now being carried to Amman and Beirut. All materials are expected to be delivered for distribution to the beneficiaries by early January 2016. The distribution to the refugees will be organised in collaboration with the local charity organisations in both the countries Lebanon and Jordan.

RAF has launched several relief drives for the Syrian people who have been displaced inside the country as also for the refugees who have taken shelter in neighbouring counties in makeshift camps.
