ExxonMobil Qatar sponsors 3rd edition of White Book


(MENAFN- The Peninsula) DOHA: ExxonMobil Qatar has announced its sponsorship of the third edition of the White Book which is an annual review of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) reports in Qatar issued by Al-Sharq newspaper.

The White Book will be launched during the third annual CSR conference scheduled to be held on December 21 under the patronage of H E Sheikh Abdullah bin Saud Al Thani Governor of Qatar Central Bank and the Chairman of Sports and Social Contribution fund.

A representative of ExxonMobil will accompanying the launch of the White Book where experts will review the corporation’s valuable and long experience as an active and contributing member of the local community and share this experience with Qatar’s business society.

Dar Al Sharq is the publisher and the event organiser. Jaber Salem Al Harmi Deputy CEO Dar Al Sharq and the Editor in-Chief of Al-Sharq newspaper thanked ExxonMobil Qatar for support provided. He emphasised that the participation of Exxon-Mobil and the initiatives of CSR gave the book and conference added value. He noted that the third edition of the conference will be a platform for companies interested in the themes of CSR to review their experiences in this vital area.

Speaking about the participation of ExxonMobil Qatar and its activities related to CSR Saleh Al Mana Vice-President and Director Public and Government Affairs in ExxonMobil Qatar said “Our community outreach programs are focused on human development; research safety health and environment; in addition to our commitment to achieve prosperity of our society and the National Vision 2030.”
