Sheikh Mansour bin Mohammed attends Dubai World Superseries 2015 Finals

DUBAI 13th December 2015 (WAM) --- H.H. Sheikh Mansour bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum President of Dubai International Marine Club today attended the BWF Badminton Dubai World Superseries 2015 Finals which concluded today at Hamdan Sports Complex.

He crowned Kento Momota who bagged the men's singles title after beating Denmark's Viktor Axelsen.

Nozomi Okuhara of Japan won the women's singles crown at the season finale.

The five-day Badminton Dubai World Superseries 2015 Finals were organised by the Badminton World Federation BWF and Dubai Sports Council under H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of Dubai Sports Council.

Launched in 2007 the BWF World Superseries is a 12-tournament series where the world's best singles and doubles players compete to reach the top eight Destination Dubai Rankings and secure a place in the Dubai World Superseries Finals.

Dubai will also stage the MetLife BWF World Superseries Schedule Finals in 2016 and 2017.
