Kuwait- KRCS distributes humanitarian aid to elderly center in Gaza

(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) GAZA Dec 13 (KUNA) -- Kuwait Red Crescent Society's (KRCS) representatives in Gaza Strip distributed here on Sunday a batch of humanitarian aid to Al-Wafa Center for Aged Care affiliated to Al-Wafa Hospital.The Center Executive Director Dr. Basman Al-Ashi said in remarks to KUNA the society distributed around 40 blankets to tens of old Palestinians residing in the center.The hospital is in need for such assistance including medical equipment and drugs.Al-Ashi besides the Palestinian elderly expressed deep gratitude to His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahamd Al-Jaber Al-Sabah and the Kuwaiti people as well as the KRCS for all the humanitarian relief they offer to Gazans who have been suffering from the Israeli siege of the enclave.Al-Wafa Center is the only one in the Strip that cares for the elderly Palestinians.
