Kuwait- OAPEC holds 95th meeting in Cairo Sunday

(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) KUWAIT Dec 13 (KUNA) -- Organization of Arab Petroleum Exporting Countries (OAPEC) announced on Sunday that the 95th meeting of the cartel will be held in Cairo next Sunday.Secretary General of the Organization Abbas Ali Al-Naqi said in a press statement that the meeting will be chaired by the Minister of Energy and Industry in Qatar Dr. Mohammed Saleh Al-Sada as Chairman of the current session of the Council of Ministers of the Organization pointing out that the Ministers of Oil Petroleum and Energy in the member states will participate in the meeting.He explained that the ministerial meeting would review and approve the organization's budget proposal (Secretariat and the judiciary) for 2016.he added that the Council will also review activities of the Secretariat for 2015 including follow-up of the environment and climate conferences seminars and meetings in addition to technical and economic studies.He pointed out that this meeting would be preceded by the 143rd gatheing of the Executive Office which will be held in Cairo on december 17-18 headed by representative of the State of Qatar Sheikh Mishaal bin Jabr Al Thani whose country holds the current session of the organization.(end).asj.msa.tg
