Qatar- Lebanese Army Fires at Gunmen Sites in Arsal Outskirts

(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) Beirut December 13 (QNA) - The Lebanese Army targeted the sites of gunmen in Ras Baalbeck outskirts and Wadi Al-Khail in Arsal with heavy artillery last night.
Lebanon's National News Agency (NNA) reported that the bombing resulted in direct casualties among the militants but it did not mention the number of injured.
Meanwhile the army arrested Lebanese fugitive Ahmed Adnan Al Hamad in the Akkar town of Mashta Hasan for having links to terrorist groups the Army Orientation Directorate said in a statement on Saturday.
Al-Hamad had links with terrorist Mohammed Ahmed Al Satem and had schemed to carry out attacks in the area of Wadi Khaled the statement added.
Last Monday the Security forces arrested two ISIS militants who had plotted to carry out attacks inside Lebanon.
Dozens of suspects were arrested across the country in recent weeks. (QNA)
