S. Korea's exports to grow slower than global average

(MENAFN) S. Korea's exports will grow at a slower step than the international average for the second year in 2015, showing unfavorable overseas market situations.

Moreover, it would also be the second year for the nation to fall short of the rate global trade growth in 2014, which its exports increased 2.3 percent.

However, the slowing increase is coming from rising competition with China in some areas like steel, chemicals and IT, which helped as main driver for S. Korea's exports.

Accordingly, the countries' exports will grow 1.8 percent on-year in 2016, and it predicted that S. Korea's growth for this year will rise from 3 percent to 2.6 percent.
