Jordan foils two Syrians' attempt to cross borders

(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) AMMAN Dec 12 (KUNA) -- The Jordanian armed forced have foiled an attempt by two Syrians to cross into the Kingdom illegally Saturday.An official source at the Jordanian Army told the official news agency (PETRA) that border guards Saturday killed a person and wounded another who tried to cross into the Kingdom coming from Syrian territory.The source added that guards responded to the situation in line with the rules of engagement followed in such cases.The source also said the army will exercise zero tolerance with any attempt aiming to jeopardize the security of the country and people.
