While the nation celebrated its 44th National Day Universal Hospital celebrated both the National Day and its 2nd anniversary in style. The hospital management left no stone unturned to ensure that everyone had a really good time. The day's events were started by Dr Shaikh Sultan bin Khalifa Al Nahyan Advisor to the UAE President who officially inaugurated the new Wellness Tower in Abu Dhabi and unveiled a portrait of late Shaikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan. The new tower will cater to all the outpatient requirements and has relevant specialists and amenities to improve the overall wellness including a spacious around the clock pharmacy.

Soon after that the grand celebrations started with some spectacular dance performances such as an LED robotic dance dhabka butterfly dance followed by Tanoura and bagpiper music which kept everyone clamouring for more. There were arrangements made for photo shoots both within and outside the premises henna tattoos traditional food cake cutting and so much more. The little ones had the best time in the world with a special kid's corner dedicated to them. Photo shoot magic show fun games face painting balloon twisting clown popcorn cotton candy dance etc. were put together for them to enjoy to the fullest. In order to accommodate all the staff and their families open air arrangements had been made complete with heritage tents and red carpet.

As the Universal family celebrated the Spirit of the Union along with the completion of two glorious years Dr Shabeer Nellikode founder and managing director thanked everyone for their support and trust. A happy blend of the Emirati culture and the health care experts this event was a must-attend with Ambassadors from Iran Mexico South Sudan and Sultanate of Oman; Consulate General of Bangladesh; Defence Attache of India; Defence Attache of Italy; corporate clients; guests; members of the media; and bystanders also joining the celebrations.
