Australia's unemployment level falls to 5.8 percent in Nov

(MENAFN) Australia's jobless rate declined for the second-straight month in November, reflecting an improvement in the local economy even as doubt grows about the slowdown in China.

According to the Australian Bureau of Statistics, the jobless ratio was a seasonally adjusted 5.8 percent in November, down from 5.9 percent reported in October and 6.2 percent in September.

Moreover, the economy has agonized over the previous year amidst a drop in mining investment following an unprecedented boom that has helped Australia avoid a recession for straight 24 years.

Furthermore, approximately 71,400 jobs were added to the economy throughout the mentioned month, consisting of an overall 41,600 full-time positions and nearly 29,700 part-time.
