UAE- Sharjah CP attends opening of Sharjah HR Conference

SHARJAH 9th December 2015 (WAM)Under the patronage of H.H. Dr. Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah H.H. Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed bin Sultan Al Qasimi Crown Prince and Deputy Ruler of Sharjah attended today the opening session of the 4th Sharjah Human Resources Conference being held under the theme: Strategic Planning for HR.

Twenty HR experts will speak about challenges and obstacles facing HR strategic planning during the two-day event amidst local regional and international transformations.

Delivering the keynote address Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan Minister of Culture Youth and Community Development affirmed that the UAE leadership and people unite together on one national goal: to develop the Emirati human being and empower him to deliver best standards of performance and achievements.

''The UAE's sons and daughters are the true assets of the nation. They are the backbone of future and the tool of the community to respond in smart and positive way to all ensuing changes within the UAE and beyond'' Sheikh Nahyan told the HR conference.

''Development of human resources is a key to the prosperous future that we aspire for our nation and it forms a prerequisite for sustainable development in our community'' he added.

Sheikh Nahyan also highlighted the importance of increasing Emiratisation percentage in the private sector urging private companies to absorb UAE nationals and become a trendsetter in social responsibility.

''HR development is the responsibility of all of us and our success in this vital quest requires a stimulating work environment that spurs excellence" he said.

Dr. Tareq bin Khadem Chairman of Sharjah HR Department organisers of the conference also addressed the event saying the UAE since its founding has been determined to enhance the developmental and constructive role of its national cadres.

He emphasised the critical role of HR strategic planning in achieving national sustainable development.

The conference will discuss thematic topics on HR planning and education HR planning and employment and HR planning and businesses.
