(MENAFN- Saudi Press Agency) Jeddah Safar 26 1437 December 08 2015 SPA -- Saudi Aramco signed here today an agreement to establish "National Academy of Energy" with six national and international agencies including Technical and Vocational Training Corporation Saline Water Conversion Corporation King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals Saudi Electricity Company General Electric Company and Siemens Company.
The agreement comes within an ambitious initiative to keep up with the highest international levels of training and providing services for the public and private sectors to graduate specialized young Saudis to work efficiently in the energy sector witnessing rapid and steady growth.
The Academy will provide specialized training programs in the fields of electricity micro machines mechanics renewable energy nuclear energy and energy efficiency in addition to operating manufacturing and producing areas.
The signing of a memorandum of understanding to establish the National Academy of Energy was held in the presence of representatives of the seven- party founders .
