(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) Amman Dec. 8 (Petra)--Senate President Faisal Al Fayez on Tuesday met with Spanish Ambassador to Jordan Santiago Cabanas Ansorena and discussed with him means to forge closer ties between Jordan and Spain in various fields.
Al Fayez said that the Kingdom is keen to boost relations with Spain and maintain coordination and consultation on various issues of common interest.
He also highly valued Spain's role in supporting Arab issues at all international forums and in fighting terrorism.
The meeting also dealt with regional issues mainly the crisis in Syria the war on terrorism and the Palestinian issue.
The ambassador praised Jordan's pivotal role in the region as well as services it provided to Syrian refugees.
