UAE- Sharjah Ruler pledges to pay tuition fees for Sharjah Police academy

SHARJAH 8th December 2015 (WAM) --- H.H. Dr. Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah has pledged to pay the tuitions fees of 112 post-graduate students of the Sharjah Police Academy as part of his support for efforts to provide higher education for all graduates.

Colonel Mohammed Khamis Al Athmani Director-General of the academy thanked H.H. Sheikh Sultan for his generous grant and support for students.

The Ruler of Sharjah supports education as a pillar of the overall development the UAE is experiencing in all spheres he said.

He described Sheikh Sultan as the "first teacher" and said the initiative is not unusual for an academician who appreciates the value and importance of education and science for nation building.

The initiative Colonel Al Athmani added also reflects the stature of Sharjah as a capital of Islamic culture.
