Deputy Dubai ruler receives Irish foreign minister

DUBAI 8th December 2015 (WAM) --- H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum Deputy Ruler of Dubai and UAE Minister of Finance on Tuesday received Charlie Flanagan Irish Minister for Foreign Affairs and Trade and members of the delegation accompanying him.

During the meeting at Sheikh Hamdan's palace in Zabeel the two parties talked about bilateral relations between the UAE and Ireland and ways of enhancing trade investment and tourism relations to serve the interests of the peoples of both countries.

H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid stressed that the UAE follows a constant policy for building economic and trade cooperation with the world based on the principles of mutual respect and service of the higher interests of the UAE people.

For his part the Irish minister commended the overall development achieved by the UAE in various spheres thanks to the domestic and foreign policy of the country's wise leaders.

he also expressed hope for expanded cooperation with the UAE in trade and investment sectors in particular.
