MEC recalls MAN trucks

(MENAFN- Gulf Times) The Ministry of Economy and Commerce has announced the recall of 2014-2015 MAN trucks (TGS 4X2/21-400) over a potential defect in the combination brake cylinder.

The recall is being carried out in collaboration with Qatar International Automobiles, the dealer of MAN vehicles in Qatar.
The recall campaign falls within the framework of the MEC's ongoing efforts to protect consumers and ensure that automobile dealers follow
up on vehicle defects and repair them.

The ministry will co-ordinate with the dealer to follow up on maintenance and repair works and communicate with customers to ensure that the necessary repairs are carried out.

The MEC has urged consumers to report any violations to its Consumer Protection and Anti-Commercial Fraud Department through the hotline (16000), e-mail (info@mec.gov.qa), Twitter (@MEC_Qatar) and Instagram (MEC_Qatar).
