Kuwait- Suicide blast injured 12 people in E. Afghanistan

(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) ISLAMABAD Dec 7 (KUNA) -- At least 12 people including policemen were injured on Monday as a suicide attacker detonated a truck bomb near a police station in Afghanistan's eastern Nangarhar province said officials.Nangarhar governor's spokesman Attaullah Khogyani told media that the bombing took place close to the police headquarters in Surkhrod district early morning. Governor of Nangarhar Salim Khan Kunduzi confirmed that the injured included seven cops adding that 25 shops were damaged as a result of the suicide attack.Security forces cordoned off the scene and a probe into the incident went underway.No group has so far claimed the responsibility for the attack but Taliban rebels have paced up their attacks across Afghanistan targeting security forces.
