Qatar- German FM Arrives in Baghdad
(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) Baghdad December 07 (QNA) - German Foreign Minister Frank-Walter Steinmeier arrived early Monday in Baghdad.
According to the (dpa) Steinmeier is expected to pledge German support to Iraq in the fight against ISIS.
"The stabilisation of Iraq is just as important as the search for a political solution in Syria" Steinmeier said after arriving.
Germany will stand at Iraq's side "in truly difficult and stormy times" he added.
The German minister's agenda includes meetings with a number of Iraqi officials. (QNA)
