Kuwait- Parliamentary cmte advises trimming some subsidies

(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) KUWAIT Dec 6 (KUNA) -- The parliamentary legal and legislative committee has recommended approval of bills trimming state subsidies OF power water fuel for state department and public sector employees amending laws on small and medium enterprises and citizens of special needs.The committee rapporteur MP Ahmad Al-Qudaibi said in a statement following a meeting today that its members discussed a number of draft laws and issued recommendations approving the bills.One of them stipulates amendment Law 98/2013 on the fund for medium and small enterprise referring it to the financial committee another calls for slashing the subsidies for electricity water and fuel for government departments and civil servants.The commission blessed a bill on amending the law for the handicapped and referred it to the commission that handless issues concerning citizens of special needs.
