India logs 1 percent fall in oil imports over 8 months

(MENAFN) India imported 138,100 bpd of crude oil from Iran in November, but the country's biggest refiner, Indian Oil Corp., bought one million barrels.

However, the imports were down by about 1 percent at 235,400 bpd in the first eight month of current fiscal year which began on April.

Iran is now trying to recover market share lost due to the sanctions and has extended crude deals with the top two Chinese buyers into 2016.
