Kuwait- NCCAL keen on spreading Arab culture in int'l fairs


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) DOHA Dec 6 (KUNA) -- Kuwait's National Council for Culture Arts and Letters (NCCAL) aims to spread knowledge on Arab culture and bring the region's societies closer through participation in Gulf and Arab fairs according to a Kuwaiti cultural official.On sidelines of the 26th Doha International Book Fair head of NCCAL's delegation to the event Jamal Al-Mulla told KUNA on Sunday that the council is showcasing a series of books in the fair including an international culture magazine international theater a magazine of arts Arabic heritage books and other publications.He noted that the council's publications attract a large number of Arab readers adding that the fair also includes seminars on different contemporary topics as well as a formative art exhibition.The ten-day Doha book fair kicked off last Wednesday with the participation of 427 publishers of 26 Arab and foreign countries.
