Two Killed as Suspect Blows Himself Up in Army Raid in Northern Lebanon


(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) A wanted suspect blew himself up on Saturday during an Lebanese army raid against his residence in the northern region of Deir Ammar, Lebanon's National News Agency (NNA) reported.
It said that suspect Mohammed Hamza detonated a hand grenade when the army raided his house.
His mother and niece were killed in the blast, while his sister was wounded.
A number of soldiers were injured in the attack. The Red Cross stated that six people were injured.
