(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) President of Yemen Abd Rabbu Mansour Hadi met here on Saturday with the United Nations Secretary-General's Envoy to Yemen Ismail Ould Cheikh Ahmed.
During the meeting, Hadi said that the massacres and destruction currently taking place in 'Taiz' are a repetition of what Aden has suffered by the coup militia. "Despite the suffering and wounds, our hands are always outstretched for peace based on national and humanitarian responsibilities towards our people." he added.
Ismail Ould Cheikh Ahmed arrived today in Aden aiming to lay the groundwork for holding the Geneva2 Conference on Yemen. Earlier, the UN envoy handed the Yemeni government delegation headed by Abdul-Malik Al-Mikhlafi, a draft solution to the crisis, including all the clauses of the Geneva Conference.
