UAE- Nahyan receives official delegation to National Day celebrations
ABU DHABI 4th December 2015 (WAM) --- Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan Minister of Culture Youth and Community Development on Friday received the official Palestinian delegation participating in the UAE's 44th National Day celebrations.
In his remarks during the meeting Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak reiterated the UAE's support for the Palestinian people's struggle to restore their rights to an independent state with Jerusalem as its capital freedom and permanent peace.
He noted that the Palestinian high-level participation in the UAE's National Day celebrations shows the depth of fraternal relations between the two peoples.
Mahmoud Ismail Representative of Palestinian President and head of the 13-strong official Palestinian delegation praised the UAE for providing "invaluable" support for the Palestinian people.
Sheikh Nahyan and the Palestinian officials today will attend the 'UAE in the Heart of Palestine' a celebration organised at the National Theatre by the Palestinian Embassy and community as a tribute to the UAE on its National Day.
