S. Korea's to build USD880m plant for Malaysia


(MENAFN) South Korean Samsung Engineering Co. has gotten a huge USD880 million order to construct petrochemical plants in Malaysia, according to the latest reports.

The top firm is an Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) Company that offers a wide range of engineering services including design, construction, and commissioning.

Samsung Engineering will build plants that produce polyethylene and other chemicals in Pengerang, by 2019, under the agreement with state-run utility firm Petronas.

Furthermore, Petronas is vested with the whole oil and gas resources in Malaysia and is entrusted with the responsibility of developing and adding value to these vital resources.
