UAE embassies diplomatic missions mark national day UAE National Day44

CAPITALS 3rd December 2015 (WAM)--The UAE embassies and diplomatic missions abroad marked on Wednesday the UAE's national day anniversary.

The Ambassadors and senior diplomats saluted the founding fathers among others the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan for their historic and remarkable role in establishing the Union on 2nd December 1971.

The guests referred to the huge achievements scored by the UAE led by President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces Their Highnesses Members of Supreme Council The Rulers of the Emirates.

In New Delhi the reception was hosted by Saed Mohammed Saed Al Muhairi Charge d'affaires at the UAE Embassy. Held at Hayat Regency Hotel the event was attended by a number of Indian officials businesspersons Indian officials Arab and foreign diplomats accredited to India.

While in Algeria Ahmed Al Nasser Al Mil the UAE Ambassador to Algeria held the reception at El Aurassi Hotel Algiers. In Khartoum Hamad Mohammed Humaid Al Junaibi the UAE Ambassador to Sudan hosted the reception at el-Salam Rotana Hotel amid presence of senior officials businesspersons and diplomats.

In Madrid the UAE Embassy hosted the reception attended by senior Spanish officials and dignitaries. Dr. Hessa Abdullah Ahmed Al Otaiba the UAE Ambassador to the Kingdom of Spain welcomed the guests on the occasion of the national day anniversary.

In Manama Abdul Reda Abdullah Al Khouri the UAE Ambassador to the Kingdom of Bahrain hosted the reception at Al Diplomat Hotel. It was attended by Bahrain's Prime Minister H.H. Sheikh Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa and Sheikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa Adviser to the Prime Minister other senior officials and members of the diplomatic corps accredited to the Kingdom.

While in Amman Jordan the Embassy hosted the reception at Meridian Hotel attended by a number of ministers dignitaries and members of the diplomatic corps. Bilal Rabia Al Badour the UAE Ambassador to Jordan paid a glowing tribute the founding fathers who set the foundations of the UAE citing remarkable comprehensive development scored by the UAE.

In Geneva Obaid Salem Al Zaabi UAE Permanent Representative to UN and Other International Organisations in Geneva hosted the reception at Intercontinental Hotel. It was attended by the ambassadors senior Swiss officials a number of Emiratis and students.

While in Cairo the UAE Embassy hosted the reception attended by a number of Egyptian ministers officials and Arab and foreign ambassadors accredited to Egypt and other dignitaries. Mohammed bin Nakhaira Al Dhahiri the UAE Ambassador to Egypt and Permanent Representative to the League of Arab States received the guests.

In Belarus the UAE Embassy hosted the reception at Renaissance Hotel attended by Deputy Belarus Foreign Minister Valentin Rybakov and a number of Belarusian officials and the members of the diplomatic corps accredited to Belarus.

In Canberra Dr. Obaid Al Hairi Salem Al Ketbi the UAE Ambassador to Australia hosted the reception at Hayat Hotel. It was attended by General Sir Peter John Cosgrove Governor-General of Australia and his wife a number of senior Australian officials dignitaries members of the diplomatic corps accredited to Australia and Emirati students in Australia.

In Sao Paulo Saleh Ahmed Al Suwaidi the UAE Consul General in Sao Paulo State Brazil hosted the reception attended by Khalid Khalifa Al Mualla and senior officials.

While in Wellington the UAE Embassy hosted the reception attended by Khalifa Saif Al Mazrouei the UAE Ambassador to New Zealand.

In London Abdulrahman Ghanem Almutaiwee UAE Ambassador to the UK hosted the reception attended by Hon. Alistair Burt British Minister of State for Community and Social Care at the Department of Health other senior British officials ambassadors and dignitaries.

While in Addis Ababa Ali Saad Al Omaira Charge d'Affairs at the UAE Embassy hosted the reception at Sheraton Hotel. It was attended by a number of Ethiopian ministers members of the diplomatic corps accredited to Ethiopia.

In Bangkok the UAE Embassy hosted the reception attended by a number of senior Thai officials members of the diplomatic corps accredited to Thailand and Emiratis in The Kingdom of Thailand. Saif Abdullah Al Shamsi the UAE Ambassador to Thailand said while the UAE marks the 44th national day the country has been ranked in top positions in all fields complementing the foundation built by the founding fathers of the UAE.

In Seoul the UAE Embassy in South Korea hosted the reception on the occasion. Abdullah Khalfan Al Rumaithi the UAE Ambassador to South Korea a number of Korean officials members of the diplomatic corps accredited to South Korea and dignitaries attended the event.

While Shanghai Czech Republic Hanoi the UAE Embassies hosted the celebrations on the occasion.

In Kuala Lumpur the UAE Embassy hosted the reception at Marriott Hotel attended by Malaysian Minister of Higher Education Seri Haji Idris Jusoh other senior officials Arab and foreign ambassadors accredited to Malaysia and dignitaries. Abdullah Mattar Al Mazrouei the UAE Ambassador to Malaysia congratulated the UAE leaders on the occasion.

In Dhaka Saeed bin Hajr Al Shehhi the UAE Ambassador to Bangladesh hosted the reception at Westin Hotel in Dhaka attended by a number of Bangladeshi ministers senior officials members of the diplomatic corps accredited to Bangladesh.

While in Doha Saleh Mohammed bin Nasra the UAE Ambassador to Qatar hosted the reception at Ritz Carlton Hotel attended by Ahmed bin Abdullah Al Mahmoud Deputy Prime Minister State Minister for the Cabinet Affairs other ministers dignitaries and members of the diplomatic corps accredited to Qatar.

In Rabat Al Asri Saeed Al Dhahiri the UAE Ambassador to the Kingdom of Morocco hosted the reception on the occasion. He hailed the UAE martyrs and their sacrifices which reflect theme of national cohesion and solidarity with Arab brothers.
