Ramallah Dec. 3 (Petra)-- The number of Palestinian female prisoners held in Israeli jails has jumped to 39 detainees 7 of whom are minors the Palestinian Commission for Prisoners affairs said.
It said 8 female prisoners were arrested after being shot by Israeli forces.
The commission called on human rights organizations to intervene and release the prisoners especially the minors.
