Qatargas cuts its gas emissions to 25.6 percent


(MENAFN) Qatargas cut its greenhouse (GHG) gas emissions to 25.6 percent in 2015; the company shared its success over the current year in the 17th Town Hall meetings.

Furthermore, the company is maintaining strong performance on unit cost USD 11.1 per ton and decrease of losses to 0.8 percent of weight of intake.

Additionally, it also aims to lead the industry in safety, health and environmental performance; high ability workforce, effective and dependable processes.

Meanwhile, in April 2015, Prime Minister and Interior Minister HE Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa Al Thani installed the Jetty Boil-Off Gas Recovery (JBOG) Project in Ras Laffan Industrial City.
